Why use Dogs ?

A dogs sense of smell is 45 times better than humans and their skills are continually developing, they can cover massive  areas of open or urban ground very effectively. They can track lost persons or find hidden intruders.

They have 42 teeth with a bite force 238 psi ( pounds per square inch) with a running speed of around 30mph, a correctly trained dog is a formidable resource.

All of our handlers are SIA and first aid qualified, they will have up to date continuation training records for the dog they use, and be either ex-military or ex-police dog handlers.

General Purpose Dogs

They are a visible deterrent and completely fearless, obedient and loyal.

Our highly trained  dog’s  will only bark on command and if required  they will bite and apprehend an intruder.

We comply with the Guard Dogs Act 1975.

 Each dog team must be accredited by The National Association of Security Dog Users (NASDU).

Detection Dogs

Drugs, Money and Firearms

These dogs are trained to locate by passive or proactive indication of all illegal substances no matter how well they are hidden.

We comply with  the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 

They are also trained to find firearms, component parts and cash. 

Explosive Detection

Our dogs are trained to find all types of listed HE (high explosives)

Semtex A and H, C4, P4, TNT, RDX, PETN:

  • TATP (Acetone peroxide)
  • HMTD (Hexamethylene triperoxide diamine)
  • ETN (Erythritol tetranitrate)
  • ANS ( ammonium nitrate solution)
  • ANFO (ammonium nitrate)
  • ANNM (prilled ammonium nitrate )

The Dog team must be accredited by The National Association of Security Dog Users (NASDU).

 Our clients range from: commercial, private, the police, counter terrorism and government agencies.

We train on the most recent HME’s (Home-made Explosives) that are produced in the Homeland Security Laboratory
